NewsFlash! has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Comments are filtered for profanity, hate, harassment, spam, and attempts to evade filtering. Users can report objectionable comments and block abusive users. We may promptly remove violating content and restrict or terminate accounts that abuse the community.
NewsFlash! is a news aggregation app that collects and displays publicly available news content from Guyanese news sources. We do not produce original news content.
All news articles, images, and media displayed in the App belong to their respective publishers. NewsFlash! displays excerpts and links to original sources. We do not claim ownership of third-party content.
When using the App, you agree not to:
You may sign in with Google or Apple, or continue as a guest. You can permanently delete your account from Profile. You can report comments and block commenters; blocking hides that user's comments from your account.
The App includes an AI-powered chat feature. Responses are generated by AI and may not always be accurate. Do not rely on AI responses for critical decisions. We reserve the right to limit or restrict chat usage.
We reserve the right to remove content, disable accounts, or restrict access to users who violate these terms or engage in abusive behaviour. We may preserve anonymized moderation records or deleted-comment placeholders when necessary to protect users and maintain discussion integrity.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of news content from third-party sources. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
